Detaches for boot transport · 135 kg capacity · 360° swivel seat · 250W motor · 15 to 18 km range · GST free
The question that decides whether a mobility scooter earns its place is not how fast it goes. It is whether it can come with you. The SectorCare Urban Mobility Scooter in red strips down without tools: the seat lifts off, the basket unclips and the tiller folds flat, leaving a chassis just 30 cm tall to slide into the boot. It travels with you to the coast, to a family lunch, to wherever the day is actually happening.
What sets it apart from the lightest pull apart scooters is what stays behind once it is assembled. A 250W motor with a 24V 45A controller pulls confidently up kerb ramps and underground car park gradients rather than labouring on them. An ABS electromagnetic brake engages the moment you release the throttle, holding the scooter on a slope instead of creeping. And a 135 kg load rating suits a wider range of riders than the compact travel scooters that trade capacity for grams. Assembled it measures 101 cm long, 48 cm wide and 85 cm to the top of the seat back, weighing 32.3 kg without the battery, and it breaks down to 101 x 48 x 30 cm for loading.
The SectorCare Urban Mobility Scooter in red brings together tool free disassembly, a 250W motor, ABS electromagnetic braking, a 360° swivel seat, adjustable tiller and seat height, puncture proof 8 inch tyres and a 135 kg load rating in a 101 x 48 x 85 cm scooter weighing 32.3 kg without its battery. Built for people who want a scooter that travels in the car without giving up the capability of a full size one, and supplied GST free across Australia.
How does it fit in a car?
It comes apart without tools. Lift off the seat, unclip the basket and fold the tiller flat, and the chassis measures 101 x 48 x 30 cm for loading into the boot.
How heavy is it?
32.3 kg without the battery, assembled. You never lift that as one piece, because the scooter separates into sections first.
What is the maximum rider weight?
135 kg, which is higher than most compact travel scooters in this class.
How far will it go on a charge?
Between 15 and 18 km at up to 8 km/h. Range varies with rider weight, terrain, temperature and the age of the battery.
Can it handle hills and kerb ramps?
The 250W motor with its 24V 45A controller is built for gradients including car park ramps, and the ABS electromagnetic brake engages when you release the throttle so the scooter holds rather than rolls back.
Will I get a flat tyre?
No. The 8 inch tyres are solid PU, so there is nothing to puncture and nothing to inflate.
Does the seat move?
It swivels a full 360 degrees and the height adjusts. The tiller angle and the armrests adjust too, so the riding position can be set to suit you.
Can someone push it if the power is off?
Yes. A freewheel lever disengages the drive so a carer or family member can push the scooter manually.
