Warranty Up To 10 Years
Warranty Disclaimer
SectorCare offers a standard 12-month manufacturer’s warranty on all products purchased through our official website.
Selected mobility and healthcare products may include extended warranty periods of 2 years or 3 years for additional peace of mind. Please refer to each individual product page for details on the applicable warranty period.
Our warranty reflects our commitment to providing safe, reliable, and high-quality mobility solutions. We ensure every product meets the standards required for both personal and support-care environments. Your rights under this warranty are outlined below:
1. What does this warranty cover?
This warranty covers defects in manufacturing and/or materials of any SectorCare product that has been:
-
Used only for its intended purpose; and
-
Installed or operated according to our recommended instructions.
It also covers items damaged during transport, provided the purchaser supplies photographic evidence within 30 days of receiving the item. Please refer to our Shipping & Returns page for more information.
2. What does this warranty not cover?
This warranty does not apply to defects, damage, or faults caused by:
-
Misuse, neglect, or abuse resulting in physical damage.
-
Failure to follow operating, charging, or care instructions.
-
Incorrect or unsafe installation.
-
Unauthorised repairs or alterations.
-
General wear and tear from regular use (e.g., tyres, cushions, grips).
-
Damage caused by environmental exposure (water, extreme heat, corrosion).
-
Change of mind after use.
-
Damage caused by excessive load beyond product specifications.
3. Who is covered by this warranty?
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser who bought the product directly from SectorCare. Proof of purchase (order confirmation or tax invoice) is required for all warranty claims.
The warranty is not transferable to new owners if the product is resold or gifted.
4. When does the warranty start?
The warranty period begins on the date the product is received by the purchaser and ends after the specified warranty term listed for that product.
A successful warranty claim does not restart or extend the original warranty period.
5. How to make a warranty claim
To submit a warranty claim:
-
Email sales@sectorcare.com.au with a brief description of the issue and clear photos/videos of the defect.
-
Include your original order number or tax invoice as proof of purchase.
We may request further information or require a physical inspection before accepting a claim.
The purchaser is responsible for returning the product to our warehouse for assessment, including all transport costs.
6. Outcome of a warranty claim
Once the product has been assessed, SectorCare may:
-
Repair the product;
-
Replace the product; or
-
Offer a full or partial refund.
Limitation for Commercial and Leasing Use
Where a wheelchair is purchased or used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to:
- Leasing or rental use
- Use by multiple users
- Use in aged care facilities, disability service providers, hospitals, or healthcare environments
- Fleet, institutional, or shared-use applications
the manufacturer’s warranty is limited as follows:
- Frame: 6 months
- Electrical components: 6 months
- Consumable parts: Not covered
Commercial or leasing use is deemed to involve higher frequency of use, increased load, and greater wear, and therefore falls outside standard personal-use warranty conditions.
If a replacement is issued, SectorCare will cover the delivery cost back to the purchaser.
SectorCare reserves the right to determine whether an issue is covered under warranty. Refunds will only be offered if agreed by SectorCare and cannot be demanded in place of a repair or replacement when one is available.
